How To Download Minecraft [1.0.0] (Single Player)

Steps:
1. Go to the game link. http://www.mediafire.com/?a5lpaeldpb393pz
2. Download the .rar file
3. Extract it with WinRar or any other program like it.
4. Run the file suitable for your OS. (Experiment and see which one works)
5. Hit 'Force Update' to update the game.
6. ENJOY!!
NOTE: Some may need to update Java if they are required to run the .jar file in the Linux folder.

You will need a cracked server to play online!

Minecraft is a sandbox game which allows players to build
constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D world. It is currently in
development by Markus "Notch" Persson. The gameplay is inspired by Dwarf
Fortress, RollerCoaster Tycoon, Dungeon Keeper, and especially
Infiniminer Minecraft has two variants, Alpha and Classic, both with
single- and multiplayer options. Classic includes only the building aspects of
the game with unlimited blocks, while Alpha includes monsters and a much
greater variety of crafting available, as well as requiring players to mine
their own blocks. Alpha is currently the latest release of Minecraft, and
plans to move into beta sometime in October 2010. Minecraft was developed for about a week before its public release on May 16, 2009 on the TIGSource
forums, where it gained a considerable level of popularity. It has been
continually updated since then.

REMEMBER:
If you don't have an account, you will play only offline mode. Sorry.

ALSO:
As I said before, I had a launcher that can update itself when needed.
So there is no configuration needed, just open the exe(or .app on Mac) file
that the launcher will download the game, install, and configure itself.
When there is an update out, just check the "Force Update" option.

The main reason that I didn't deleted the Login form is because I had no idea
where to put "Force Update" checkbox. But then I figured that leaving the
Login form fully functional for the ones that bought the real game(like me)
might be a good idea too.
So if you bought the game, you can use this launcher too, and share the same
executable file with your friends that want to test the single-player survival
mode.

1 - Just run the file suitable for your OS.

I don't have an username/password, what do I do?:

1 - Just press "Login" button(don't care if you input something on the fields)
It will try to login, if it fails, it will skip to offline mode automatically,
so there is no need to click on "Offline Mode" button.

I heard a new version is out, how do I update?

1 - At login screen, select "Force Update" checkbox.
2 - Click "Login" button.

seriously? all u have to do is download minecraft from the website and then when it asks you for your username and password just put a random jumble of letters. It will then say 'login failed', when it says this just click the play offline button and there you have it, free minecraft single player XD none of this crappy stuff this dude is trying to tell you
