@shwinggum In terms of contemporaneous artists, I'd suggest Iggy Pop, Talking Heads, Brian Eno, Roxy Music and Television. If you're looking for modern artists who exhibit a distinct Bowie influence try: Suckers, Smith Westerns, TV On The Radio (Bowie actually provides backing vocals on their song 'Province') and LCD Soundsystem. These are all indie/rock artists, though (LCD SS are a bit dance-y). I'm afraid I'm not too knowledgeable about techno or metal. Hope you find something you enjoy!

@nichoji Hey, I was wonderin' if you could give me a couple of the artist names who make similar music... Can't seem to find any in the pool of techno and pop music or metal... Thanks dude.

@jeancocteau1 Don't be so foolish. There are plenty of modern artists making music of the same quality, who are just as intelligent, are well educated, have a dedicated approach to their craft and deal with relatable subject matter. What's tragic is your ignorance of that fact. Have a nice day.

it's the first LP I ever bought and I've never fallen out of love with it

I bought this album when it came out. I loved it! But to my surprise whenever I played it for my friends no one seem to get into it. I've not understood that to this day. This baby has more than held up over time. Truly a great album.

This song is the most Neu! of his 'trilogy' songs and sounds cool. The Adrian Belew explosion of guitar is pretty cool, too.

True avant-garde rock. Intelligent lyrics, captivating, exciting, brilliant. No artist today can duplicate. noone has the intelligence today, bad educations, bad attititudes and petty conerns, its very tragic...
