This is probably the best mid price range travel bass on the market. Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 jumbo frets, 1 3/4 inch nut width, 32" inch scale length, P-51 split pickup, 6 lbs. 8 oz., sunburst finish, tortoise pick guard, headphone amp, AUX in. Just plain goodness. $519.99 (amazon.com)
@Rocknrolloff1 The bass comes with roundwound strings and, with those, it has a P bass slap tone. The only downside is that changing strings is more of a chore than a bass with a standard headstock, so I don't see myself changing strings regularly with this bass.

i see you put some foam by the bridge, nice touch to eliminate the extra noise especially on lil bass runs. How is the tone with slap? does it have a good punch? I am looking to pick one up, especially if i am going into nyc or if i fly out. good stuff man! my band is on here too. lifewithoutwarning1 is our channel!

@Adrianrulz Yeah, I may change the strings again. I just had the GHS's lying around.

Awesome, I'd put some DR High beams or Rotosounds on mine.
