  • Muscle confusion - LOL - So, like, each muscle has a tiny brain inside it that goes 'derrr . . . he's doing a different exercise now, that means . . . derr . . . oh god, I'm confused . . . I better get bigger'. But hey, waste your money and time if you want to. Steve is the real deal here. Sadly, most brainwashed americans with their 'do and buy what I'm told in adverts' mentality, can't see it.

  • @dsyankeefanable There are NOT more people having success with P90X,..than those having success in the gym. A Stunning bit of misinformation on your part.

  • @VitoBoy2010 ok but theres more effective training that works better then p90x if your an athlete. Look at guys like lebron james or kelvin johnson you think there doing p90x? They do strength training but the right way. They do plyos but the right way, they do conditioning the right way and they do speed training. The only thing real atheltes can get out of p90x is the yoga

  • @ObiE1n3 P90X plyo is done that exact way. All the moves are 30sec-1 min. Then rest for 15-30sec. Just like an athlete would do in a football or baseball field. Tony clearly states that P90X has NO cardio. Heavy weights deffinately increases your size. But not everyone wants to be bulky. I have friends that are massive and can lift 400lbs on bench. Get us in a cage or on any other sports field and I kick their ass!!! Size doesn't mean fit. Those massive guys can't even scratch their own ass!!!!

  • Overall, what you say about P90X is true. Nothing new presented in P90X but I also know people who have had tremendous success doing it.

I had to respond to the "you can't lose alot of weight in a short period of time". Just following a diet void of sugar, soda, bread, and pasta, and doing a bootcamp type workout, I lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks. I was sick with the flu during one of those weeks; otherwise, the loss would have been greater. I went from a tight 38 to a loose 34 or tight 32.

  • @ObiE1n3 And you only get benefit from plyo after you can squat 2x your body weight otherwise your risk injury. And doing pushups pullups and body weight high reps stuff is ok and will burn fat and build a nice foundation but its weight training that helps you get better yes you need to challenge yourself not confuse. LMAO!

  • @VitoBoy2010 How much you can lift is a major part of the equation to becoming a great athlete but you incorporate it with HIIT training 3x per week,Plyometric 1x a week and not the p90x plyo where you mess your knees up thats cardio plyo, Real plyo is suppose to be done at max intensity for short spurts and good rest in between sets. Honestly the only thing that I really liked from p90x was Yoga X.

  • makes me laugh when people compare p90x and crossfit as fitness fads. the clue is in the title - p90x is for 90 days. crossfit is a lifelong pursuit.

  • People I know who did P90X tend to overtrain right in the middle of it. Also, one thing I've noticed that on average those who forced themselves to get into some kind of exercise routine it doesn't matter if it's P90X or whatever 95% then to quit after 3 months (roughly 90 days).

  • this man speaks the truth, all these programs u hear like sixpackshortcuts and p90x are just using simple principles that can easily be found using the web

  • how do you know all this?are you saying this from personal experience hope you answer

  • OH! & one other thing....LOL
