Aha, your video is great. I love trail riding, although I don't get to do it as much because 1. I moved to another state and had to sell my horse, and now I take lessons for Western Pleasure that altogether eradicate my trail days, and 2. I don't have a horse to take. D: My horse was a lot like yours, though. Spooking at everything that was different and being curious about every object that was... er... everywhere! xD

One more question :) What is boarding?
-
Now thats a relief I live in Toronto have a couple of ranches not far away and yeah I think they wont mind having extra money :) Just have to start by having lessons there on weekends or in the summer :) Ok thanks going to subscribe :)
Boarding is like you said "staying in a hotel" you "board" the horse at the barn; it's not your barn, but you keep it there...

It depends on what you want; I have a very small horse barn at my house with a pasture in the woods, and Daisy stays at my house and I feed and clean up after her. Sometimes, I board her at a different barn. Boarding barns tend to have a nicer spread; they will clean up after your horse, feed it, take care of it...and most have indoor arenas for riding in bad weather. They can cost a lot. In NY they average about $425/month with full care.I pay $250 for doing the majority of the work myself...

Hey! Glad you liked my video...are you looking into buying a horse? Just know that it's a BIG commitment...
It depends on what kind of trail riding...Arabians are good endurance horses...but really, most horses are fine trail riding. I have a quarter horse/thoroughbred cross, she's great...Paints, quarter horses, morgans...but Arabians are known to be good for trail. However, they tend to be very highstrung; it may be better to go with a diffferent breed. :)

Ahhhhhh, I never answered...
We don't have any room to jump at my own house, and the place I was at when this video was taken does have room sooooo when I board there this winter, like I said, I'll be able to work more with Daisy and do more jumping, but until then, I won't be doing jumping, sooooo, no jumping vids until Jan/Feb/March....sorry!
Glad you like them, though. :)

Jeez, I feel so loved ;-) lol.
I'm sure you'll be fine. Just remember--ALWAYS ask for help from someone when you need it--I got a lot of advice and help from people when I first got Daisy. I advise you do the same. :)
I'm happy to help as welllllllllllllll :D. Lol

I ride English or western. Whatever I feel like. I'm not against or only for any one of the two.
