I have 2 cats and love them both, but the vet told me to use a spray bottle of water to get them to stop doing unwanted behaviors, and I don't allow my cats on tables or counters either. They step and crap in the liter box and I think it is gross to then allow them on your table, washed on not.

@adrisilva16 i get what u mean tho. back my cat would scratch of the furniture... we would put spray bottles around the house and use them if we saw her doin some trouble. its an effective and safe punishment, but it scared the crud out of her... :)

Eh I don't really mind if my cats hop up on the table and counters.Pretty much anywhere is a play place or bed,lol.Not that hard to say no to them and wipe the area down if you're going to use it. :)

Yeah i know but most ppl do mind like my mom lol..and since im allergic i cant have them in my roo...and i really miss that cat. he got lost :(
