  • Don't forget, there are TWO veins on a shrimp - one running down the back and the other running down the front. Happy deveining!

  • Exactly--why were they zooming in on the chef's face instead of what he's doing with his hands?

  • Fire the cameraman!

  • great video, you just saved me alot of misery.

  • you can save so much money buying shrimp that are whole an doing the maintenance at home.

  • he said that's how we get the black out.. that's racist!

  • gay! i didn't click to check out the chef. let's see what he's actually doing

  • Turn your tap off when you're not using it. What a waste of water =.=

  • You make sure its fresh, grasp it firmly in your hand, holding the shrimps as straight as posible, grab the head, twist slightly and then pull stright out. the vein shoudl come out straight. The key is to hold the prawn straight and not let it curve.

  • "The black vein running down the back of shrimp is the digestive tract. It's harmless, so to devein or not devein is a personal preference."

"Removing the "vein" is not essential, as it is not poisonous and is mostly tasteless."
