Cold engine start demo : This vehicle and engine was recently rebuilt and tuned here at TurboKraft, Inc. The engine, an intercooled 3.8L Twin Turbo with stand alone engine management system is built to reliably output 650 HP. Fully sequential ignition with integrated boost mapping for 91 or 104+ Octane fuel. The chassis and body work is also new and freshly repainted. Suspension features a Bilstein PSS 10 system with MODE billet monoball mounts. Very comfortable but precise handling. The wheels are the lightweight FIKSE FM5 with new tires. • Will it drive?

  • @25877852 Of course it drives!

  • they didnt make a turbo S until 2004 or 2005

  • @ninjadudevideos

Actually, the factory offered 911 Turbo S options as far back as 1987, or earlier.

    - 930 engine package M148: "Engine with increased efficiency 930.66". These are the true "Turbo S" 930s.

    - 930 Slantnose cars (M505: "Special Series - Slant Nose") are often referred to as "Turbo S" or "Turbo SE" ("Special Edition"), though most had standard engines.

    - A "Turbo S" package was offered for the 1991-92 C2 Turbo, 1994 Turbo 3.6, and 1996-98 993 Turbo (Twin Turbo).

  • Um, no, not $30k. That's the auction's starting price, still much less than the cost of the engine.

I'm interested, roughly how much would the parts cost to turbo a standard 3.6l 964 engine and how much for twin turbo parts, only the relevant parts no fitment, cos i'm from Germany. Is that 3.8 a stroked 3.6 ? Roughly how much for turbo / twin turbo and stroker parts?

    many thanks

  • air-cooled porsches are n will always be the coolest. real drivers cars. you may be able to go faster down your favorite road in a new, all wheel drive, power everything twin turbo with tiptronic ( i like the dual-clutch, though), but you wont have as much fun. once you get over the 'posing', you'll find the older cars are more fun to drive, not to mention 'cheaper'. nothing german is cheap, so thats sort-of relative. i've owned several miatas, though, n you can have a blast for under 5k....

  • Kudos to y'all. You took my favorite porsche and made it even better. I look forward to the wet dreams i'll have about this car

  • OLD IS BETTER !!!

  • my ex gf drove a 964 c4 n/a that is green with tan interior. Oh god do I miss it...

the car of corse, she was kinda a big girl and I always felt bad for the car but her fatass knew how to drive.

  • hell yeah

  • very nice car. I've recently sold my poor mans porsche (97 STI swapped impreza) with hopes of getting a 89 or a 96 911

  • @GTRF4N 657hp measured at all 4 wheels on a Dynapack chassis dyno, VP-104 fuel. Dyno chart posted on the TurboKraft website gallery, this car's album.
