The National Ability Centers 2009 Huntsman Cup adaptive ski races brought together a highly competitive field of racers from Utah and across the country, as well as other countries around the world. For some skiers, this was their first time in a competitive adaptive race. Others are Paralympians or have competed for many years. The races were held at Park City Mountain Resort February 10-12.
This field of racers gave spectators a week of intense and exciting ski racing. This is a FIS-NORAM race and a point qualifier for the Disabled World Cup and U.S. National Disabled Championships. As such, racers came from many countries including Mexico, Canada, Great Britain, Slovenia, Slovakia, Australia and New Zealand.
