2008 Violence In Eldoret, Kenya

We would remember the terrible violence that took place in the Eldoret area of Kenya in 2008.

Eldoret is where the Patrician Brothers have four establishments - Eldoret town, Kapsoya, Kabongo, and Iten - and the Brothers were very much amongst and affected by the violence and resulting deaths and homelessness.

This Irish TV news item features Patrician Br Paul Brennan, who first arrived in Kenya in 1978, and who was responding to the needs of the victims.

Br Paul still resides in Eldoret (Kapsoya), Kenya, and has dedicated himself to raising funds and buildings for the educational and medical needs of the poor in the area. See the "Delany Foundation - Kenya" video for an example of the work of Paul and the Brothers in Kenya.
