High Speed video of coal particle combustion. Coal is passed through a turbulent premixed methane flame in an open tube burner. Video is recorded at 12,000 fps which does not show the blue premixed flame. Coal particles are 75-95 microns in size at a concentration of approximately 100 grams per meter cubed.
