@lillieknight Laurence Harvey may not have been your bees knees, but he could be cynical, cruel, maybe even nasty all rolled into that handsome face. You'd have to see him in "Room at the Top" made a year earlier to get what I mean.....Here in Butterfield 8, he's practically cheating on his wife only to wind falling in love with Liz!!!

@lillieknight ~ What are you talking about? Clint Eastwood WAS around at the time, but was just a television personality. During that period, Laurence Harvey was a hot comodity, and in six years, appeared opposite three actresses in their Oscar-winning roles.
