serpent of lior is where yatta is and just so you know hack GU has a link with hack infection mutation outbreak and quarentine besid's the epitath's users witch are the 8 phases sry spoiler =S but yeah besid';s that haseo is well was actualy another caracter in the dot hack sign seiries but i whon't say too much in case you haven't finish the game =D great game BTW i agree with you if you ever wana know info abouth the story or just talk abouth it just ask XP cya

@hyugadavide i know about this .hack game but it's been 3 years ago since i've played it, ya i've beat the game i love all the volumes, i also went through all 100 floors of the forest of pain! ^^

People say the GU series sucks, but I think they are better than the orginal dot hack games. Better story and visuals. I also like the gameplay more.

I never veven knew about the anime series but a couple months ago I played the four origonal dot hack games ending. I loved the whole thing. I asked if there was ever another dot hack continuation but the gamestop guys told me no. I wish I had known about dot hack G.U. a month ago I wouldn't have sold my memory card. BTW: do you get anything special if you convert dot hack volume 4 data? besides my previous items?
