Just a short little stop motion animation project that derived from an animation class I'm enrolled in. First time ever working with stop motion animation and it was quite fun!
Most Ys fans will probably understand the references well enough, but for those that have never played an Ys game, here's a discription of the scene:
Ys is a very old-school action-role playing game series that chronicles the story of a red-haired swordsman named Adol. As seen in the animation sequence, Adol is on a quest to destroy monsters when his would-be love interest (If Adol could ever pry himself away from adventuring long enough to care) Lilia arrives on scene. She warns Adol that a monster is coming and Adol kills it in battle. Suddenly, the stage prop for the "Floating Island of Ys" comes crashing down to the ground. (Which does happen in one of the games in a manner of speaking...) abruptly ending the adventuring music.
lol, it's great
Oh, and I thought the thing holding up Lilia was her reflection in the water at first!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I wish the animation could have turned out to be a little bit longer, but believe it or not for this amount of length, it was around 80 frames! 0_0
