Big Black - Dead Billy @ Georgetown Steamplant, Seattle, WA - August 11, 1987

Big Black's last show (if you don't count the mini-reunion they did for the Touch & Go 25th Anniversary in 2006)

Several infamous seattleites attended this show, including Mark Arm (Green River), Dan Peters (Bundle Of Hiss), Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Bruce Pavitt, Charles Peterson, etc

Steve Albini: vocals, guitar
Santiago Durango: guitar
Dave Riley: bass
Roland: drums

"Dead Billy" from "Lungs" (Ruthless Records, 1982)

  • How come the crowd is barely moving ?

  • mmmmmm

  • i was at this.

  • @sqwuade yeah i see that guy your talking about and i agree it looks helluva a lot like Kurt. I think it's him.

  • That kinda looks like Cobain, but not the guy at the very front, the guy behind the guy with glasses might be him. You can only see him for maybe 1/2 a second when the guy with the glasses moves his head back. I'm not sure if it's him or not 'cause it's a little blurry but it does resemble him.

  • I was at this show. My ears rang for 3-4 days. Steven Jesse Bernstein opened for Big Black.

  • how do you know he said he was at the very front of the satge go and read heaciver than heaven

  • Is someone yelling "Black Sabbath" at the end?

  • sorry to break it to you 2 guys , but that is NOT Cobain.

Yes he was at that show, but He is'nt visable in this video
