why u have so many unneccesary edge rings and edgeloops in your model ?
I am no mammoth expert but the legs look a little bit too long.
u gonna take it into mudbox? zbrush ? if so.
then u need to evenly divide the quads, just like nurbs patchwork.

Its just a 6-axis joystick-like device controlled only by one hand. Works great with AutoCAD or 3D Studio for move/pan/rotate 3d environment but you cant replace mouse or tablet with this. However spacenavigator-tablet combo is great. On the other hand, its a specialized device, it works only with specific applications (shame- it would be great in games). For normal user its useless and too expensive.

Don't compare this device to programs - it's stupid because SpaceNavigator is just simple navigation device- not enviroment for creation.

It's just because you can't point with it. It is a compliment to the right-hand "normal" mouse.
For left-handed people just switch places or hands. It's just not the "main" mouse.

Left hand mouse? Dude, i doubt this type of mouse is different for left and right hands. can't you see it's shape?

This is a left hand mouse. Traditional mouse stays for your right hand. It may sound weird, but this method works great, as all camera control can be done with one hand.
