In eleventh day of the second world war eighteen planes from German elite fighter unit LG-2,
has taken off to destroy the covered airfield of the Polish Third Fighter Group. From the main formation have been separated five Messerschmitts as decoy. German pilots had an excellent tactical situation. The Polish Commander immediately has sent to fight seven fighters. Seven against eighteen agressors. He had no idea that the rest of Messerschmitts was cruising nearby. It is strange but result of struggle was a draw. Two germans and two Polish Fighters have been destroyed. During the September Campaign the Polish Third Fighter Group which had 23 combat planes, achieved 36 confirmed kills, losing in direct combat only 5 own fighters.

I am glad of your comment - there are still many people with poor knowledge and our mission to educate with movies is still valid. P-11c was constructed in 1931 and it was not wwI plane however in 1939 it was outdated. In direct combat it could win as event in Kamienna and other shows thanks to its high turn rate and well trained pilots famous later in the Battle of Britain

Most of Polish planes were lost due to logistic issues and not in direct combat. Note that German anti-semits lost 25% of air force in 1939 - Hitler needed 1,5 year to recover from losses before attacking France - and so goal of British diplomacy was achieved to push Hitler to Poland and gain some time.

  • @BDFilms2005

Oktober 1939 - Mai 1940 (France) = 1,5 years? No, 8 month - and the reason for this break was that Generals could convince crazy Hitler not to attack France in November 1939. Reason: He should wait until winter is over, because the infantry was not build for an Invasion in Winter.

  • @cyberOwwwOecho

you are right, obviously it was 1940, anyway they had to rebuild those 500 planes lost or damaged in 1939 to gain advantage over French air force that had 4 times planes more than Poland

armed. But P.11 has radial engine, much more resistant on demages that ihe inline engine of BF-109. P.11 was also much more agile and nimble than Bf-109? In solo fight, just one versus one, P.11 was like the plane of same level.

Polish Air Force was defeated only because of the large number of German planes. If there were 600 Polish fighters, German looses wouldn't be about 250, but 1000.

If youre knowledge is like great ZERO don't say a word on any place.

  • @cyberOwwwOecho

You also said that those planes were like from WW1. I don't think you have any idea that PZL P.7 was known as The Best Fighter Of The World in 1932 and PZL P.11 in 1934? You fool! Don't you know that their orgin, PZL P.1 was also modern plane. All metal when hte rest of the world used wood and canvas or cloth?

And you wanna know what like Bf-109 is in compare to P.11? It is faster, thats trueth, it is also a bit more armed.

  • @cyberOwwwOecho

Are you such a idiot or you want to provoke somebody?

Thats true that 70% of Polish Air FOrce was destroyed untill 14th September but remamber that there was a huge disproportion in number of planes. 150 Polish fighters fought against 600 German ones and shoot down 247 Luftwaffe planes (fighters and bombers). During all September Campaign only 1/3 Polish fighters was shoot down, the next 50 lightly demaged and another 50 gone to Romania and Hungary.

  • The west thinks we had a terrible defense. The command maybe wasn't good, but we were attacked from west, north, south and east by the most powerfull military machines of the world. Also brits told us not to increase army too much to avoid making germans nervous and we were left alone without any assistance. When alliants decided that any action is pointless because we lost already, we were still able to counterstrike and germans had lots of difficulties, not to mention that Reich wasn;t protected

  • @nolifemerc We also have to remeber that if some weapons were outdated this was caused by economics, not by constructors talents.

  • of course you want others to believe that stupidity

you can view that vid in other planet so will find someone believe it ;)

  • @cyberOwwwOecho actually this polish plane is pretty good dont underestimate it.

  • No tak siły wroga potęga. Serce walki naszych pilotów ułańska fantazja. My POLACY.

  • @MakBDF mas pravdu, akorat jsem chtel rict ze vlastne v te dobe PZL-11 bylo uz v tu dobu zastarale letadlo a polsti piloti s nim dokazali vynikat nad nejlepsimi stihackami te doby.
