  • Tina - it is really easy and so much fun! I have done this with kids too (ages 9 to 13) for Mother's Day gifts etc. Feel free to write if you have questions - littlecanvases@gmail.com Enjoy!

  • Wow.. Soon as I get a few inks and some floor finish, I'd love to give this a try! Thanks for sharing how! ~tina

  • @GiaWhite Hmm.. I think I need me some Future Floor Finish LMAO..... TFS!!

  • @ibkristykat So here are the other things you can do with the FFF (Future Floor Finish) so that it won't go to waste :-) 1) Mix it with Pearl Ex as a binder and paint away! 2) use it to seal anything that won't run. 3) Use it asa a blocker in between ink treatments (so that they lay on top of each other instead of getting muddy). It's a general all around great sealer - you can add ink to it and you have a clear transparent finish as well! HAVE A BLAST! (it's only $4 or so)

  • @GiaWhite I mostly asked because I don't have a need for wood floor cleaners - unless the floor cleaner you mentioned does laminate too? LOL But so yeah I have none & would hate to buy some just for crafting... but if it's cheap then, hey, I may just splurge & buy some anyways. I agree with the different inks reacting differently. For instance I can't make my own "dew drops" that everyone's been making... I neverrr seems to work out right, no matter what Ink or Glue I use.. ugh ugh. Thanks!!

  • @ibkristykat Not to wrooy - I am cheap too :-) The floor cleaner substitution would be hard as it is really cheap already - howver, I have used clear nail polish which I have found at the dollar store two for a dollar. It smells worse and takes longer to dry but works. With respect to Momento reinkers, please try it and tell us your results :-) DIfferent inks react differently to the alcohol (which really needs to be 91% - any CVS or Walgreens). The Adirondaks work the best (after Liquitex ink)

  • those all look soooo awesome. I have none of the supplies you speak of except for rubber stamps, transparencies, gesso & re-inkers. I have 50% alcohol, and none of the rest.. lol. I'm supposing just regular cheap acrylic paint would suffice for those base colors, but how about the floor cleaner? any good substitutions for that? and how about the Bombay ink? can you replace that with Momento re-inkers?

    TFS

  • I love your work......amazing videos = ) all 5 of them ...
