At our local hospital, visiting a neighbor and sheltering from the weather. =] Under svr t-storm watch at the time. These clouds formed before the storms arrived - some of the strangest I've ever seen! Beautiful, in a scary sort of way. Storms are over for this evening, may have a few after midnight as a warm front moves back north; not expected to be as strong or severe. Tomorrow, a dry line approaches from the West - more severe storms possible. 'Tis the season, but YUCK! Wears on a body. LOL

  • We saw the same type of clouds over Colyton, Devon, UK just the other day, they're quite rare over here; in the next batch of cloud there were mini-funnels forming and dissipating and horizontal ribbons too - the whole sky was amazing. Thanks for sharing : )
