in my opinion, freedom of speach is a good thing but when you try to use it to justify hating or trolling then Freedom of speach is just a crock of bullsh*t! Trust me, i've been gaybashed and have been called the N word thousands of times on Xbox live so i know what i am saying when i say this.

Trolls are best described as the internets's equivalent of school yard bullies. I'm sure you have noticed hateful and abusive comments left on videos all over youtube. Most are posted by trolls to get and angry action from people.
The Freedom of speech card is a tactic used by trolls to make their victims think that using the block user and remove comment functions to stop trolling violates Freedom of Speech. In reality using the protecting one self in this manner from trolls is not.

People can write horrible things on my page as much as they want to as long as it's not spam or you know, something crazy like ASCII pr0n or something. I would just shrug it off and forget about it because it's just nasty text on my screen to me. I don't care about them... They are miles and miles away from me. I don't even know them. Even though I'm on all the time, I just don't take the internet seriously enough to even care. :P But hey that's just me. Some people just hate seeing that stuff.

Choosing to ignore trolls is a good option as they are not able to havest LULZ from you. But I would like to point out that those watching your videos may be provoked by troll comments left on your videos. Thus trolls are able to get LULZ from them. Actively filtering out troll comments and using the block user comment not only protects you from trolling. It protects your viewers from being trolled.
