This song was recorded in 1992, and released in 1995.
It appears near the end of the 1995 movie "Empire Records" starring a (then) 26-year old Renée Zellweger and (then) 18-year old Liv Tyler.
I am 30 years old now, I'd recommend the movie after having just watched it on Netflix tonight. It may bring back some good memories of the 90's.

Dude, take it from me I have been married 27 years to the love of my life. Go and get her and don't let anyone take her from you. If you love her that much, get down on your knees if you have to. Just let her know how you feel. I almost lost my girl because someone told her something that wasn't true. I went to her house and told her that the only true thing was that we needed to stay together forever. We got married in 1984 and I love her more everyday.
