http://www.FindtheBestCarPrice.com Learn how to buy a car at the best possible price. You could save thousands buying a car using my simple techniques. Get free emails to negotiate with car dealers and buy a car near or below invoice.

There are 5 mistakes you need to avoid so you don't pay too much for your next car.
1- Don't discuss your trade-in or financing too early.
2- Don't focus on the monthly car payment
3- Don't let the salesman know your target price
4- Don't talk with only one car dealership.
5- Don't negotiate a car at the dealership, instead buy a car online.

A wise car salesman once told me "The car business is the only place the customer can come in and say what they want to pay for your goods. It would be like walking into a restaurant and telling the waiter you want to pay $30 for the $50 steak."

A better analogy would be to walk into a restaurant and the waiter tells you the steak costs $75 knowing he just sold 4 other steaks for $50 each. And then he tried to charge you $10 to have the steak grilled, $10 insurance in case it tasted bad, and another $10 for potatoes.

You know a good deal is a state of mind, and these so called car guru's are only using scare tactics to get attention for thier own gain. people often focus on the price of things but have no clue about the value. Furthermore if you think that are going to get dealers to negotiate against each other your wating your time. People who sell cars will quickly seperate you from thier list of prospects because time is money. If you want the develop a relationship with a qualified advisor.

I'm going to look to buy a new car tomorrow or used if it's relatively new. I can't believe how tricky it is to just buy a car. I'm so nervous. I don't want to fall into any traps. :(

Why not buy from a dealer? The dealer has professionals that check the vehicle over first before they sell it (if you're talking used). In Canada there is A.M.V.I.C. that requires the dealer to do an inspection on the vehicle to make sure it doesnt have any mechanical problems, as well as a Car proof inspection. In a private sale that's a lot of work that YOU have to do instead of it already being done for you. BUY FROM A DEALER IT'S SAFER.

That is some of the dumbest s**t ive ever heard. Wonder if people realize that on average there is only 6-8% markup (profit) over invoice on a car.

yeah good idea..but atleast at a dealer you can trade in your old car for more money off if you want to do monthly payments.

I been selling cars for over 25 years. The happiest customer you will ever have is the ones who payed you a profit>The customer who nickel and dimes you the most ,tries to buy the car under the dealers invoice, haggles and haggles are the most unhappiest people on earth, and the survey that is always sent back from that type of customers is 100% always negative.

A lot of sales are very ethical nowadays. People have a misconception on sales ripping them off, they underestimate what the salesman has to do, for example; run around finding you the right car just for you to look at regardless of the weather, test drive, showing every little detail.. All that takes a lot of time. All in all, it's a business, if both parties are reasonable, why not pay more for premium service! A good salesman is hard to find! especially the ones who actually cares about you.
