Awesome track, and one of my all-time favourites from Citizen Band. This song preceded their 1979 release of the 'Just Drove Through Town' album by about 3 or 4 months, coming out towards the end of 1978.

Loved this song back in the day... still love it :)

I loved this band way back when I was in form 1 in Papakura, and had their album 'Just drove through town' if I recall the title? Regret that I gave it away. Also really liked their song 'Julia'. Classic stuff!!!

Danced to this song at the Gluepot in 1979.

Rob Muldoon borrowed so much money for the "think big projects" that mad dog Douglas had to sell everything off ten years later to stop NZ becoming a third World country.

Don't Give Me Culture was sung by The Knobz. It was their reaction to Rob Muldoon's criticism of the band Mi-Sex as not being 'culture' regarding music, as well as raising sales tax and import duties. I've got the album "Sudden Exposure" it's great 80's kiwi music!!!

Thanks for posting. Great song. I remember seeing Citizen Band open for Cheap Trick at Auckland Town hall around 1978/79. My first real rock concert. Chur!
