  • Thanks for the info, otherwise I would just sit there for ever waiting on the check haha

  • @LRPFilming - I see it happening to visitors all the time! Happy to help. I'm here to serve (pun intended).

  • I never understood why they don't do that here in the US, I'm more likely to get that extra drink or even a dessert if I don't feel rushed out the door.

  • @DIYVlog - Exactly!

  • That’s cool they don’t rush you out the door.

  • @stuntflix - Gotta love it. Imagine being able to finish every conversation you start.

  • @hoptownrider - Tipping is appreciated though a 10% service is already included in the bill. If you feel you got exceptional service you can add another 5-10% if you want to be treated like royalty when you return.

  • speaking of Tips about restaurants, do you tip there? I know in some cultures they think of it as being rude. Thanks for the info.

  • Good to know. I would have gotten seriously pissed waiting for the check.

  • Eating out is a relaxing experience in Costa Rica. Sometimes service is a little slow but it's a cultural thing not to rushes. People eat at their leisure here with no pressure. It's better for the digestion not to have someone throw down the check before you're even finished with your appetizer.
