Northern Kenya is facing a severe drought for the second year running, leaving thousands in danger and doctors fearing many deaths due to malnutrition.

The Red Cross says that several people have already died of starvation this year.

The last 12 months have been the driest in the Horn of Africa for more than 15 years.

Al Jazeera's Catherine Soi reports from Wajir, in Kenya's northeast.
