Pushups are one of the best all-around chest exercises you can do at home. Here is a video clip showing proper form.

can make 50 now, didn't done anything 4 it, haha, do you have some tips for me so i can make more PU's in a row? Have uploaded my push ups, maby you see anything i can do better?

    Tnx, Thijs

  • If your goal is to go more pushups, I can think of lots of ways to train for that. Start by using backpack pushups to build up strength (see chest workout on my website). You can also try clapping pushups, one-handed pushups, and ultra-slow pushups. All these should help you increase the number of pushups you can do.

  • hey scooby1961..u have some great work out tips..and i can use them efficiently since i work out at home only.. i was wondering if u have any tips for tricepts workouts..thanks..

  • My favorite exercise is the "skull crusher" otherwise known as the "french press" (dont ask me why). Its listed on my list of videos as: Bodybuilding Exercise: French Press for Triceps

  • on your website you say not to go all the way to the ground when doing push ups because your shoulders are behind the plane of your body and is an injury risk but you do go all the way down in this video? whats that about?

  • Uh oh, I'm SO busted. This is exactly why its good to video yourself doing an exercise to catch problems with your form. It is best for your shoulders if you stop when your elbows are at about a 90 degree angle, which is what I thought I was doing but the video tells a different story.

  • Not my area of expertise. I'm going to start yoga, give me about 20 years to get some experience under my belt.

  • Hey, I am very interested in yoga! By any chance could you make a video on that!?

    Thanks!

    -Shahla.
