How to get a (Free) ANDROID emulator for your computer

In this video, I will show you how to get the official free ANDROID emulator for your computer. This is for those who want to try out the ANDROID OS without actually spending the money to get an ANDROID device.

Can I download apps from android market on my computer with this emulator ?

@Alecxscool i dont think so. Only if you download them onto your computer and put them in the emulator. Im not quite sure how to do that but it is possible.

I have the emulator up and running no sweat with ice cream sandwich. my problem is i really want to run Slacker radio (so i can cache onto my device) through the emulator.. How can i get the android market on here? thanks in advance

@passedyouby im sorry the emulator is for developers so unless you get the games on your computer and somehow run them on the emulator, there is no way to use apps

@passedyouby it is possible. Just google it. You can download apk's from the browser. Softpedia has a tutorial on how to run apps from ubuntu using the ADK but it's the same on all platforms.

guys if i can get any help. i wanna download an emulator with really good games. im just not sure of which one. is it neccessary to buy a rom grapper from the market?.... pokemin street fighter. mario would be nice
