Whilce Portacio Drawing Wolverine on my XPS 1710 SuperCon 2009

Well I waited 20 years to get my autograph of Whilce. From X-Men 201 all the way to Spawn recently he has inspired me to continue to collect comic books and keep the artwork alive. He is one of the aforementioned creators of Image comics and Homage Studios and has had series such as Wetworks and Stone. He is one of the main reasons why I have continued to collect comic books and the reason why I support the cause!

I was only going to be bringing my main set of books for him to autograph but brought my XPS 1710 on the off chance that he would sign it. Not only did he sign it but he took time out of the convention to do a personal sketch of the infamous Wolverine. Such as wolverine I believe Whilce is the best there is at what he does!!!!

Thanks so much for being a gracious artist and making the books come alive for me all these years Whilce!

Special thanks goes out to Platypus and his boy who got rocked on Street Fighter 4. I was so nervous and awe struck with geekdom that I needed my boy to video the whole session.

I feel sorry for this guy.... I love his work, and have always thought highly of him. Its a shame that his sister died when Image comics was just getting off the ground... his book wetworks which kicked alot of butt came out really late and then sparadically.... and then died off... that was such a cool book with awesome art.
