take everywhere? whip out at a moments notice? surf the net etc Nope, windows is really rubbish for fingers, Vilivs software is really flakey, the onscreen keyboard is really hard to use and sometimes just doesnt work at all - wifi connection is poor, often losing connection, it is heavy, the data 3g part is most of the time not picking up or really slow, apart from that go for it battery life? you will be lucky to get 3hours!

screen keyboard at 2.20 is pretty cool nice stuff

I thought Win 7 supported multi-touch... Anyways it looks laggy in the video, or maybe its just my browser stuttering. I have win 7 RC on a 6 year old laptop (Pentium M) and it works pretty well for being on such a beat up laptop.

for me any smaller screen computer. I consider as a ordinary Mini Laptop. If you look for an hi-end you should buy a full feature one.

@MexicanLeaderTaco No way to get around that soldering huh?

You might want to do some research on the Eking S515. It's getting good reviews and has similar hardware as the S5. The only thing is right now it's not available in the US if you live here. Also I'd like t know like obsidian99 what soft keyboard is running.

i really want the Viliv X70 but i hate the 1.33ghz processor win 7 gives it a 1.9 but if it had the 1.6ghz processor it would get a 3.0 rating and i also hate that most of these UMPC only have 1 gb ram, what sucks most is that you cant even replace it because its soldered into place
will this work with a wireless ps3 keyboard/touchpad set
or any other wireless keyboard?
Please answers thanks

The ps3 Keyboard uses bluetooth, the Viliv X70EX has built-in bluetooth. So, yes it should work.

These things are great for toys to play around with and browse the web. I have few touch screen games I loaded up to play with as well. As long as you understand this isn't designed for work related stuff, you will love having this to play with all day.

Hardly any lag ever. Some with flash, but I blame Adobe for not making flash more lightweight. It is a resistive touchscreen so there is no multitouch, hasn't been implemented in really any OS yet anyway.
