Though I tend to watch the movies of Monsieur Woody from time to time I can endure them less and less: In his prime of manhood he was a lot more subversive but than again: His movies consist mostly about the impotent intellectual talk about and with women and boring and bored cliché characters, who scratch their souls to the bones, without becoming anymore interesting by it. Oscar Wilde and George Bernhard Shaw have done this as well but were at least poetical and a bit cynical.
