She is one of the best soprano in XX century!

Thirty-five years after I first heard Lucia Popp's Voice on the Carmina Burana recording, I still marvel that someone can both look so gorgeous and sing so beautifully.

Rusalka j'aime !! ce chant est merveilleux
Avec Lucia Popp, j'ai les frissons ! Elle semble portée par sa voix et nous offre son chant !
D'autres vont chercher leur voix pour nous offrir leur chant !
Merci Barry
Rusalka, I like! this song is wonderful
With Lucia Popp, I have chills! It seems, driven by his voice, and gives us his song!
Others will, find their voice, to offer us their song!
thank you Barry :))

I heard this too late!
Wasn't she perfect? Thank you, Barry. So happy there are still devoted Lucia fans out there. I left flowers on her grave last summer.

@poppovalu You have reminded me of a story told to me by "BravaBerganza01". She and her friend "LaViolettaValery" visited the grave 12/11/2009 when Lucia would have been 70. As they stood looking on a beautiful butterfly fluttered from a rose on the grave. It circled around them twice and flew slowly back into the flowers.
