I bought a brand new 1973 MG midget in 1973. Cost me $2,900.00 right off the showroom floor. God, I loved that car. The problem I had was always with the transmission.
I spent a fortune keeping it going, still, it was my favorite of all the vehicles I have owned

@outfctrl I bought a second Midget with a growling transmission while I still owned this one, then I bought a third one with a decent transmission for the second. Then I bought a 4th one....they do get in your blood, like a disease. This car had a twin choke sidedraft Weber carb...and I had to make some jets for the carb...pretty neat project.
