This is a group of Sudanese refugees living in Louisville KY who are building musical instruments they made and played when they were children in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya.
The name for this instrument is Kirar. I don't why the Arab speaking Sudanese call it Rebaba. Peopel in Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia play this instrument.
Congratulations to whoever started this fine project. Music and art connect us around the world. These instruments are amongst the earliest instruments in the world and are found elsewhere in Africa.
