Were your Uncle and cousin"Wichita Linemen?"When they were on the back roads, in their pickup trucks, how could they know if the transformers were overloaded? This isn't A BS question. I'm A salesman by trade and I'm interested to know these things. I've got to say, I first heard this song while stationed in Holy Loch, Scotland at the SUBMARINE BASE in 1968-69. Great song! Thanks 2old2rock.
A great song about a subject I never understood until I was much older. It speaks about being someone who has great responsibility but needs some one to depend on. Behind every great man is a greater woman.
