Barack Obama was asked this question at the South Carolina debate recently, and at the end of his answer, he stated this.
All I did was take out the other part of his answer, I did not edit it in any other way.
Enjoy!

These things are not part of the description, I just threw them in:

  • That was the perfect response. He fielded it without embarrassing whites or blacks.

Note: he poked fun at one of the black cliches that was complementary, but did not go into basket ball, or watermelon. You can tell that Edwards wasn't quite sure where he was about to go, and had an objectionable look building on his face.

Why this had to be a topic I'll never understand. But the President seems to know just what to say to neutralize the obvious potential volatility of loaded racial questions.

  • I think a better response would have been to turn to Hillary and say "Hillary, you've had sex with him, so maybe you're better equipped to answer the question."

  • @hello2656 Please outline how he is a great President. Are we better off as a country than we were in 2009? I don't mean to be disrespectful. Just asking questions..

  • Your so-called leaders are foolishly blinded by their own self-importance, which leaves their emotions without the benefit of spiritual intellect. They have built their lives upon false foundations involving status, wealth, narcissism, ignorance, arrogance, prejudice, self-seeking glory and many more illusory ideologies that serve no other purpose than to flatter their egos. The acquisition of wealth without spiritual awareness is nothing more than poverty. Awaken to your I AM presence.

  • @whitfkl318nu Edwards was sitting there like George Gobel on that 1969 Tonight Show with Bob Hope and Dean Martin: "Did you ever get the feeling that the world was a tuxedo and you were a pair of brown shoes?" He was never fit for a varsity game -- and not just for the biggest reason we have now.

  • Cute, but we need Ron Paul.

  • I can't believe this was a question that took up time as we were trying to figure out who should lead the U.S. and the free world.

  • He is so freaking AWESOME. He's actually a FUNNY guy, a good man, and a great president.

    And Hillary's face is priceless!

  • @whitfkl318nu ed wards had bigger issues on the horizon and who knows what that look was all about

  • @whitfkl318nu thanks for the dumbarse explanation, p.s. the sky is blue
