Bon Iver - RE: Stacks (cover) - by Martin, The Rupture Moment.

I play in a band called The Rupture Moment - previously played in a band called Their Strange Gathering. Bon Iver released his newest LP recently, but that forced me back into 'For Emma, Forever Ago' (usually happens to me when an artist releases new work - i go backwards). It's a record I consider one of the finest debuts by anyone, ever.

Anyway - been without a guitar for months, and i finally got a friend's guitar on loan, and bought a capo. Here's my just learned the chords version of re: Stacks. Enjoy :-)

I'm working on 'blindsided', my second-favourite tracks on that mercurial LP.

nb: i'm not trying to be Justin here, just playing it because i've wanted to record a version for just... too long. This version is nowhere near as good as any i've seen on YouTube; some have reduced me to tears. This is just an expression of months of guitar-less frustration finally being released through an amazing song by an amazing artist - Bon Iver.
