I stayed at the Mayfair for 6 nights and after reading all the reviews I was expecting the worst! Walking into the room I was suprised at how clean the room had looked. It was small but that was expected since it was cheap and old. No signs of bugs or holes in the walls or any type of funk of anykind. Also heard the neighborhood was a little sketchy but we never had any problems at all in LA. Metro is a 10min walk away, there are bus stops right outside the hotel, the Staples Center is about 25min walk and beaches are about 1/2hr drive. I'd def stay here again. I'm actually going to be moving to LA and more than likely I'll be renting out here montly. It's cheap, seems comfortable, neighborhood isn't bad from what I saw in a week and no car is needed to get around. Well worth the price. Just make sure you ask for a room with double windows if they are available. Rooms seem much bigger.
Thanx for the vid man, really, Im coming to stay monthly in search of a job also. Coming from VA, thanx

@noezzi thats funny you mention that, I'm waiting for an email back from the hotel about that topic. I'm moving out there myself in June and I'm going to be doing the monthly thing myself. I liked the place when I was there and I heard they do monthly rates but only asked a few questions about it. If you have any info you can hook me up with I'd appreciate it like monthly prices and room sizes or whatever. Thatd be cool.
