Left With Pictures opening for The Miserable Rich at The Slaughtered Lamb, Nov 3rd 2009. The band perform an unplugged cover of Richard Thompson's '1952 Vincent Black Lightning'. For a review and more music like this see http://musicmule.co.uk
Fascinating interpretation. More of a storytelling feel than a musical performance, but still musical and captivating. I think I still prefer Mr. Thompson's original, but I'm a fan. Nicely done.
Men playing melodicas will always have a special place in my heart.

Strange. And more than a little camp. But..... I dunno..... It ALMOST works.
Better than Marc Almond's godawful version of 'The Great Valerio' anyway, so it's not the worst RT cover out there.
