Collins Brothers Moving Corporation was founded in 1910 in Larchmont, NY by Mr. William Collins. He started with a horse and wagon moving furniture and other freight in Westchester County and New York City. In 1958, Mr. Collins' two sons, William and Hugh, took over the business and began concentrating on household goods moving. They were perfectionists and enjoyed a first-class reputation.
Growth Through Expansion
In 1972, the business was purchased by Frank E. Webers. It consisted of three employees and two vans at the time. Today the company has over 300 pieces of equipment and 275 employees.
