April 4, 2010 - Modded '04 Honda CRF150F (223cc) Dirt Bike Ride

Riding a 2004 Honda CRF150F with the engine built into a Honda 230 (223cc). There are a lot of long hills that I used to have to take in 3rd because the stock 150 engine just didn't have the power to get up them in 4th. If you watch my August 2, 2009 video it starts at the base of the same hill and you can see and hear the difference. It now has plenty of power even when starting a little low in 4th gear or any gear and there is a big increase in power throughout the entire throttle range. There is a long list of other aftermarket parts that have been added to the bike also.

@kcloaker23; I'm 6'3" tall but I did some things to make the bike fit me better (tall seat foam, 2" handlebar risers, Fastway foot pegs in the "low boy" position.

do you have to wheelie with the clutch on this?

@mxmaniac150 ; It will lift the front tire with just a blip of the throttle in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

@TheCrf150freerider, Some aftermarket BB kits are not as reliable as a stock engine but this is not a kit. It uses all OEM Honda 230F engine parts with no aftermarket parts at all so it is good and reliable.

Im 5'9, i have a honda xr100r but its to slow and to short. Would a honda crf150f be better. Is it taller than my xr100r and is it faster?

I have a crf 150 but haven't really ridden it properly yet

Do you need to use the clutch when changing up gears or can you let off the throttle a bit and kick it up a gear
