Ultimately the people with the fastest times on this course, use a method of locking the throttle full open and slow down by using the brakes only. My method is standard variable throttle which makes the car accelerate from turns much slower than the locked throttle method. I'd have to rig my hand controller to keep the throttle locked, but I haven't bothered to do so. You're easily capable of winning with the standard method.
