I wonder how many so-called "tea partyers" claim to be Christian? I wonder if they have read Mark 3 and whether or not they consider themselves to be Pharisees (religious right) or Herodians (NEOCONS)? I also wonder if they have read the Preamble to the Constitution which says that government should do what the PEOPLE tell it to do. And them read Romans 13.

They will not get fined if they don't purchase insurance.

The poorest will be able to get financial asistance if needed. You can also opt out with an approved reason.

If you don't do anything, and tax time rolls around, and the form requests your insurance info, you will be paying more in taxes.

I think that is fair. Why should we have to pay for your medical emergencies.

I agree the congress has raided S.S. when they should not have, but SS serves a great purpose, even though there are flaws.

Not just retiring old folks receive SS. mentally and physically handicapped, and others receive assistance.

I would rather see congress put rules and investigators in place to stop dipping into the fund and find cheats in the system.

@Blairtim69 I can agree with that. Maybe people shouldn't work for the government if they can help. I personally don't see why social security should be a mandate by the government. People should have a choice when it comes to social secuirty. Social Security was good, but it got worse because the gov. dips into. If you are liberal, conservative, indep, teabagger, you can all believe in that!!

No, I believe the conservatives and republicans want to privatize everything.

I believe we need to have rules and regulations to stop corporations from running over everyone to maximize their profits.

I don't thing government is my enemy. Government agencies need watch dogs to keep their employees honest.
