@JaviVS This band has been together for 30 YEARS. Everyone in the band is in there forties. James and Lars are both 48 currently, and it is harder to do the things they did 20 years ago. Please stop your bitching and open your eyes.

To all of you people: I think he uses double bass on a live concert, but not the whole concert, because then he will be with Cliff Burton in no-time I guess.

What i mean is that you do have a choice: shorter setlist (Slayer is doing that) which brings you a full-on metal concert, or a longer setlist, which brings you more value for your ticket and also a lot of fun because you see Metallica playing live.

What's the deal then?

@Suicidalfamily because it's too fast and difficult for them! I don't know,maybe in the early years they could but I guess we will never find out....But now that Lars can't play drums any more because his is not even try and because he is much older and James can't sing as the thrash metal awesome singer he used to be,I can say without doubt that they can't take that kind of speed!! I still love metallica,metallica is more than a big metal band for me! But I must say the truth!

metallica misses something :) if you compare the live vids from all songs before and after the year 2000 xD
