Panzerwerk Pillbox C-type in Wallendorf

This is a clip unfortunately only in Swedish. It will however show you a almost intact pillbox (c-type) of the Siegfried Line, in Wallendorf Luxembourg. Unlike what the video initially states it is not a communication bunker. It was armed with some kind of canon at the time. We will enter the bunker and explain what we think we see (in Swedish).

This bunker is not in Wallendorf Luxembourg, it is in Wallendorf Germany,

the Village on the Luxembourg site from the border is Wallendorf-Pont.

Yes, "bohatschek" you are right! Just realised it when you mention it. Thanks for pointing it out to us and the audience. Even if it just a few yards from Luxembourg it is still in Germany.

Just a note on our clip here: this is not a typical communication bunker as we state in the initial headings. It is a bunker previously armed with a larger gun to cover the bridge over the river.
