@kayjay1196 she was paralyzed by her husband, I believe. Haven't seen the movie in a while but I'm pretty sure that's why.

@thomaswever1 Her husband is trying to drown her so he paralyzed her with some medicine. It is beginning to wear off slowly so that she is able to move her feet.

@thomaswever1 Right before he puts her in the bath, her husband drugs her with a special kind of anaesthetic that keeps her awake but paralyses her body. We just watched it in my English class. :)
