I dont tink i could cope with the fact the ice is CLEAR and looks BLACK thats some deep ass water right there, My max skate speed is 45.3mph for a very small time as i get tired fast but fuck that. That lake gave me some scares in my past well in the 80s, and hearing cracking ice is not a joke lol
4-6 inches is waaaaay enough to hold those few people. In the Netherlands the rule for a big ice skating race is 6.2 inches and that's because thousands of public will be on the ice to watch the race.
