  • @golferchin76 Yes pit stops are really important! I don't like pirelli tires. F1 is supposed to be the pinnacle of automotive racing. That means the absolute BEST of everything should be used. Pirelli confirmed that they are not making the BEST tires for F1 to make drivers be more diligent with their tires. You cannot be as aggressive as before, its more of a conservative race. Who manages and selects their tires best wins the race. Aggressive and gutsy moves will make you pay. I don't like.

  • @c312eal

What I am trying to say was pit-stop time can be largely reduced by diligent practices. FIA GT1's pit stops are faster

KONDO Racing in round 1, 2010, won the race largely because of the pit strategy. The race car enter the pit for mandatory driver change, but didn't change tires, which saved about 15 seconds and it came out leading the race til the end.

I watch every race of F1 and I know pit stops can win or ruin a race. This year's pirelli tires make pit stops even more interesting.

  • @golferchin76 Because it's a race, people think that it's all about lap times and going fast. Race = speed and fast right? LOL

Yeah I learnt how important pit strategy is in I think 2009? When Petronas SC430 was in front of the Nismo GT-R. SC430 pits 1st doing a full tire change. 1 Lap later the GT-R does only rear tire change and was 10 seconds faster in the pits. Nismo won the race because of 1 pit stop in Fuji. The director of Petronas was shocked that they were 10 seconds slower in pits LOL

  • @c312eal I don't know why a population so smart on everything could not understand the very importance of a "fast pit stop" can win the race.

  • @golferchin76 I have a feeling Nissan is going to take it this year. Nismo's pit crew is really good. Honda has the worst pits. LOL they always lose out by a few seconds. Enter pits in 1st place, come out in 2nd place LOL

  • @c312eal Axio has been in races since 2010.

before that is the older version of Corolla, Altis.

The pit work at super GT is a mess. a lot of screw ups. a lead car can have a 20 sec lead advantage and lost it in the pit, hahaha.

  • @golferchin76 hmmm I didn't know they raced the altis, but i knew they raced the axio. What year did they race the altis? No I didn't find the torrents for super gt 2011 yet ): I hope Honda can take the title again though :D Gotta love the sound and looks of the HSV. I hate the fact that honda is always losing in the pits.

  • @c312eal this is a retired GT300 Corolla Altis right here in Thailand (two generations old model), N/A class. you saw the other chrome/red color one which failed at start but caught up to this one later? That one had turbo in it. All the cars passed this Altis were the turbo class. The only thing that's fast enough for this Altis was the blue 911 in front of it.

By the way, do you find 2011 Super GT torrents? I have all the 2010 races torrent files but can't seem to find 2011 anywhere..

  • @golferchin76 i doubt its a GT300 race car from Super GT. This is a toyota corolla in North America. If it was a GT300 from Super GT, all these cars wouldn't stand a chance, just because they have wide body kit and a gt wing doesn't make them Super GT. You ever see the video of the 600hp Mine's GTR vs the JGTC GT300 Honda Accord. The Accord was in a different league. It just destroyed the GT-R.

  • @lamemajestic this is probably a GT300 race car from Japan's Super GT series, if so then it has to be rear wheel drive.
