having heard duvall a lot, i think now i can tell the difference between him and layne:

they sing in the same tone,but layne's voice is way more raw,and has this weird echo that duvall doesnt. there are some more little differences but that's because we're talking different people here,duvall can't completely clone layne's voice.

I agree....they are not replacing Layne (they never did)....he's dead. Duvall is keeping the band going with the original guys releasing new material which is pretty good.

Give AiC a break, they have the right to keep playing. Layne may not have been very close with AiC near his last days, but I know he'd want them to keep playing his songs now. It's good to hear this again, notice how excited the fans are to sing along? It has been far to long since these songs have been played LIVE. Layne was amazing and NOT replaceable, agreed! DuVall is not the same as Layne, but give him a break...those are some HUGE shoes to fill (ie: Miami 91). RIP Layne - u r missed!
