Super Street Fighter IV(4) trailer

This video is brought to you by Game Videos. Capcom has finally confirmed the widely rumored followup to the smash hit Street Fighter IV. Borrowing the SUPER title from the 90s (and the same logo). New warriors are revealed in this new installment of Street Fighter 4. In this edition, the new fighters are T. Hawk, Dee Jay and brand new character Juri. In her very 1st appearance in the Street Fighter franchise, Juri is a Korean Tae Kwon Do martial arts expert (not an old lady or ice skater contrary to Capcom's original ideas in what I liked to call Juri duty, lol), who is rumored to be one of Seth's henchmen. Around Sept. 22, several websites had reported some rumors regarding the rest of the cast, and had the name of the new character before it was released on September 28. Some of the info was listed as 2 new characters, Juri, and Hakan (Hakan being a Arab grappler associated with lots and lots of oils), and 8 returning cast members from other Street Fighter games. Dudley, Ibuki, and Makoto from the Street Fighter III series. From the Street Fighter Alpha series, we have Cody, Adon, and Guy, and from the Super Turbo series, we have T. Hawk and Dee Jay. We will have to wait and see what Capcom reveals to see if any of these rumors turn out to be true.

According to this week's Famitsu magazine, Super Street Fighter IV will once again feature bonus stages, which will be inserted into both Arcade and Challenge modes. The two bonus stages revealed should be familiar to old fighter nuts -- one has your character punching and kicking barrels rolling his or her way, while the other (and more memorable) one have you trying to dish as much damage as possible on a parked car with your slate of special moves. That's right, the car smashing bonus rounds from Street Fighter II will make their glorious return in Super Street Fighter IV! Expect massive changes in all the old returning cast as well. Improvements and overall gameplay will be fine tuned to make this the best Street Fighter to date. A couple of new additions or modes to Super SFIV's online support includes:

- A Replay Channel that lets you voice-chat with other users while watching videos and gives you a chance to save replays locally to hard disc.
- Endless Battle, a new "winner's outs"-style tournament mode for up to eight players.
- Team Battle, a group-based tournament that allows teams of two or four to compete against each other.
- Bonus Stages. a test of skill against the clock.

Exclusively slated to hit (get it, lol) the PC, XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 in Spring 2010 at the earliest in March 23 for about $40 according to Game Stop! Yet the price tag and release date are unofficial since Capcom hasn't confirmed this as of this report. What are your thoughts about this super game?
