  • The whole band has always been great together or alone, and no diss to Reb, But George Lynch is the only Guitarist for Dokken

  • I will never forget the day that Steve Brown (Micks little brother) came to school and said "my brothers in the Don Dokken band, their gonna be big !" and we all said " yeah right kid, whatever" . The next year every kid in school had a Dokken t-shirt !!!!

  • @LOSHOMBRES123 Reb Beach had a nervous breakdown after thier tour. Got his final paycheck and went into hiding in Malibu. I think he did mountain climbing for about two years and was never heard from again. lol

  • I wish Mick and Jeff would have sang more songs, kind of like kiss where everybody got a few. This is one of my favorite cd's, I love that the solos are all electric.

  • I LOVED Dokken in the 80's. That was my band above all bands..I saw Reb with them on the one album and tour he did. I loved the way he fit in that band, and I don't often. I saw George on their last tour together, and he looked miserable... Good move. That REVOLUTION disc was magnificent! As for Dokken, no other guitar dude has done as good an album with them since "Erase The Slate" which actually made up for that "Shadowlife" disaster. The reunion album with Lynch was pretty cool...

  • --- Sorry Mick, i think the drums are your thing, But you're welcome to come with me to Karaoke this Saturday night !

  • @LOSHOMBRES123 I totally agree George Lynch is the man.

  • Just got lucky again and had to hear this again, theBAND, not Don the man

  • its good stuff...jeff does a good job with "you just got lucky" as well...most bands have folks that can play other instruments or sing or write songs...when dokken arrived on the scene...don was the better choice to front the band...if either jeff or mick would have fronted the band in the 80s, i dont think they would have been successful

  • I saw them do a set like this in Providence, RI around 1992 or so and they rocked. Lynch, of course, did not sing (they used to keep his mic unplugged!).

  • I have to admit, this song was never an absolute fav. of mine, but this version is so good i've listened to it about 8 times today.

  • @zzzthaoster They did it was released in 1996 it's called One Live Night there's also a DVD for it also.
